We provide direct care services through various therapeutic modalities with an emphasis on psychological evaluations. Our clinicians treat individuals and families with various modes of therapy to include Individual, Group, Couples, Family and Hypnosis.

Additionally, DG&A provides consultative services to local agencies that routinely request specialized services such as Forensic Evaluations to include but not limited to Criminal Responsibility/ Not Guilty By Reason of Insanity, Competency, Sex Offender, Violence Risk Assessment, Disability and Child Custody Evaluations. Moreover, we have an excellent reputation for providing exceptional psychological evaluations outside the Forensic arena, which includes Psychoeducational, Functional Behavior Assessments, Substance Abuse Disorder Assessments, Neuropsychological Screenings and Psychosocial Evaluations.

DG&A’s professionals have developed and conducted trainings for other mental health professionals in specialized areas such as Behavior Modifications, Treatment of Dual Diagnosis, Substance Abuse Treatment and Prevention, Sexual Trauma and Sex Offender Assessment and Treatment. In keeping with our traditional of educating others about mental illness, we have presented topics on public access television, at community colleges, professional seminars, and state hospitals.

We offer psychoeducational evaluations to answer questions related to problems in school including ADHD, Learning Disability and Intellectual Disability.   

Comprehensive Psychological Evaluations 

We offer Comprehensive Psychological Evaluations to answer questions related to mental health concerns or employment related personality questions.  

Behavior Plans 

We offer behavior plans for parents or teachers who need assistance in modifying maladaptive behaviors in children. Behavior plans can be prepared for behaviors such as biting, bed wetting, homework and anger outbursts.  

Forensic Evaluations  

We offer Forensic Evaluations to answer criminal and civil legal questions. We take referrals from defense attorneys and referral ordered by the courts. Any one seeking a forensic evaluation should consult an attorney first prior to scheduling an appointment.  It is the practice to work directly with you and your attorney throughout the evaluative process.

We offer group therapy for people interested in improving social skills and interpersonal relationships.

We offer several services for our business community. We can bring the training to your site or invite you to our training space at our main office in College Park, Maryland or in our Largo, Maryland Training space. Additionally, we offer psychological services to support personnel screening, and employee assistance programs. We provide training for :

Family therapy is used to address specific difficulties that occur within the family.  

We have designed a special 12-week couples therapy course “couples boot camp” that is appropriate for both married couples and couples preparing for marriage.
