History: How we started

I started D. Gambles & Associates(DGA) shortly after completing my postdoctoral training in Washington, DC in 2010.  I incorporated the company in July 2010 in Washington, DC. When I incorporated the company, I was the only associate but I had confidence that my little idea would grow into its big name.  My First office was a small space at 1725 I Street, Washington, DC.  One year later, I had grown by one associate and one administrative assistant.  We were on our way! In 2012 We opened another location in Alexandria Virginia and soon after Annapolis, Maryland.  Now the company had two associates in each office, a receptionist in each location and one office manager.  We mostly focused on psychological evaluations but we had a healthy clientele of therapy clients assigned to each associate.  

Over the years DGA evolved into a full consultation group practice with our main focus as Forensic Services. We provide consultation to several agencies around the DMV including, Social Security Administration, Maryland Department of Probation and Parole, Virginia Department of Rehabilitation, DC Department of Behavioral Health, Maryland Public Defender Office, Adventist Behavioral Health, DC Public Defender Services and the National Missing and Exploited Children’s Network.  

Consultation Services

I am proud of the diverse consultation services that we provide at DGA. We use our expertise to assist and support both for profit and non-profit organizations. One I’m most proud of is our involvement with the National Missing and Exploited Children’s Network.

Location, Location, Location

I realized early on that we have unique clients and it was my desire to meet every potential client where they are so we continue to have locations in Alexandria, Virginia; College Park, Maryland; Upper Marlboro, Maryland; and Washington, DC.

Psychological Services  

We continue to offer specialized treatment in Childhood Sexual Trauma, Sex Offender Treatment Services, Sexual Trauma, and Sexual Addiction.
We also offer a variety of psychological assessments including Forensic, Comprehensive, and Psychoeducational evaluations.
