Dr. Teresa Grant

Dr. Grant is a Licensed Clinical Psychologist who specializes in clinical and forensic evaluations for adult and juvenile offenders. Her expertise entails competency to stand trial, criminal responsibility, risk assessments, pre-sentence, civil commitment, psychological, and sex offender evaluations.  She has been qualified as an expert witness in Maryland and the District of Columbia. Dr. Grant is a native Washingtonian.   

Dr. Grant is licensed in the states of Maryland, Virginia, and the District of Columbia.  She received her Bachelor’s Degree from the University of Maryland, Master’s Degree from Johns Hopkins University, and her Ph.D. from Howard University.  Dr. Grant received her clinical training from the District of Columbia Child and Family Guidance Clinic, D.C Pretrial Services, Court Services and Offender Supervision Agency, Spring Grove Hospital, St. Elizabeths Hospital, and the Department of Behavioral Health in the District of Columbia.  She is a consultant for the Court Ordered Evaluations and Placements for the State of Maryland and Dr. Gambles and Associates. In addition, she has been retained by various attorneys and entities to conduct court ordered evaluations.
